Who is responsible for your information
Titan Crypto Limited is the controller of personal information used to run this store and manage our customer relationships. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 13739322.
Contact: sales@titancryptoltd.com. Office contact address: The Avalon, Bramble Lane, Burntwood, WS7 9AU, United Kingdom. WhatsApp: +44 7732 251980. This policy covers our website, hardware orders, customer accounts and related sales and support communications.
Information we collect
Information you provide may include your name, company, email, telephone number, billing and delivery address, order details, tax or business details where relevant, and messages or attachments sent to our team. Returns and warranty enquiries may include product serial numbers, photographs and fault descriptions.
Customer accounts use your name, email address, a protected password record and session information. Payment records may include the method, amount, currency, wallet address, transaction hash, payment status and bank-transfer reference. Never send us a cryptocurrency private key or wallet recovery phrase.
When you browse, our website records a visitor session identifier, pages viewed, clicked links or buttons, visit times and whether your session is active or inactive. Approximate country and city may be estimated from your connection; this is not precise GPS location. Hosting and security providers may also process IP addresses, browser information and technical logs.
Where information comes from
We receive information directly through checkout, registration, email, live chat, telephone and WhatsApp, and automatically through website activity. Payment networks, delivery services and customers placing orders for another recipient may provide transaction, dispatch or recipient information. Please only share another person’s details when you are entitled to do so.
Saved carts and checkout reminders
We save selected products and quantities, the email and first name entered at checkout, last activity, and your reminder choice so our team can help with unfinished checkouts. Carts are treated as abandoned after one hour without activity. Reminder emails are sent manually to customers who opt in at checkout and include a link to restore their cart and stop future reminders.
Cart records are removed after 90 days without activity when the cart-saving service runs. Recovery links and reminder eligibility expire after 30 days without activity. We keep a suppression record of an email address that opts out so its preference can be respected. Reminder send status and consent details are retained with the cart record. Essential order records remain subject to the retention rules below.
How we use information
We use customer and order information to answer enquiries, provide quotations, process and verify payments, issue invoices, deliver hardware, maintain accounts, track shipments and manage returns, refunds and warranty support.
Technical and visitor information helps us understand store usage, monitor current visits, troubleshoot problems and protect the website. We use advertising events, including successful Add to Cart actions, to measure advertising performance. An Add to Cart event is not treated as proof of a paid purchase.
We also retain information needed for accounting, legal obligations and resolving disputes. Essential order messages are separate from promotional communications; you can ask us to stop direct marketing at any time.
Our reasons for processing information
Contract: information needed to take steps you request before a purchase and fulfil your order or account services. Legal obligation: records and disclosures required by applicable accounting, tax and other laws.
Legitimate interests: proportionate fraud prevention, security, handling business enquiries, resolving claims and understanding how our store operates, balanced against your privacy rights. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Consent: advertising cookies and personalised advertising when you choose to accept them, and promotional communications where consent is required. We use limited advertising measurement signals without advertising cookies under our interest in understanding ad performance; you may contact us to object. Refusing advertising cookies does not prevent you from buying hardware.
International processing
Some hosting, messaging, advertising, payment and delivery services operate internationally, so your information may be processed outside the United Kingdom, including by providers with operations in the United States or in your delivery country.
Where a transfer is restricted by applicable data protection law, appropriate safeguards are required, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. You can contact us for details of the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your information.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on why we hold the information. Order, invoice and payment records are retained for applicable accounting requirements and the period needed to deal with warranty obligations, refunds and legal claims. Account information is retained while the account is used and afterwards only where an ongoing obligation or legitimate need remains.
Support records are kept for the time needed to resolve the enquiry and related follow-up or claims. Visitor activity and technical records are kept according to their operational or security purpose; the recent-activity views shown to staff do not themselves set a deletion deadline.
When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or anonymised, subject to backups and legal preservation requirements. Ask us for the retention period applicable to a particular record or request deletion where you are entitled to it.
Protecting your information
The store uses HTTPS, protected password records and access controls for customer and administrative functions. These measures reduce risk but no website, message service or payment network can guarantee absolute security.
Keep your account password and payment credentials private. If you suspect account misuse or an incorrect disclosure, contact us promptly. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry and avoid unnecessary identity documents or sensitive personal details.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law and the reason for processing, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy of information you provided. You may object to legitimate-interest processing and to direct marketing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.
Email sales@titancryptoltd.com with “Privacy request” in the subject and enough information to identify the relevant account or order. We may need proportionate identity verification before disclosing or changing records. We will respond within the applicable legal deadline. Refusing information needed to fulfil an order or secure an account may mean we cannot provide that service.
Our store does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing. Google may use advertising signals to personalise ads where permitted by your choices.
You can raise a concern with us and complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or to the relevant supervisory authority in your country.
Children, external links and policy updates
Our hardware store is intended for adult customers and business buyers. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should not be held, contact us so we can review it.
External websites and platforms have their own policies. This policy describes Titan Crypto’s handling of information and does not replace the notices of those services.
We may update this policy when the store or our practices change. The effective date appears at the top of this page. Where required, we will provide further notice of a material change.
